What’s New, Outlook?
Classics are great aren’t they?
We’ve got classic rock, classic cars, classic Coke. So many great classics!
But new is good too. Sometimes you didn’t even know you wanted new until you tried it. New rock is great. In fact, classic rockers are still making new rock, so it has to be good! New cars? Amazing. Cutting edge, cool, all the things you want in a car. New Coke – ok sorry. I can’t make that one work either.
In general, new is good. It’s innovative, exciting, fresh and impactful.
So why are you still clinging to Classic Outlook when New Outlook is right there for the taking?
Because it’s change, and we fear change. I’m here to tell you that this is a change you can and should embrace. It’s worth the upgrade, believe me.
Why It’s Great
The new Outlook isn’t just a facelift; it’s a productivity powerhouse. Here’s what makes it stand out:
Modern, Simplified Design
Say goodbye to clutter. The interface is clean, intuitive, and consistent across desktop, web, and mobile. Navigation is effortless, and essential tools are right where you need them.
Deep Microsoft 365 Integration
Outlook now works seamlessly with Teams, OneDrive, and To Do. Attach files from OneDrive without leaving your inbox, schedule meetings with Teams in a click, and manage tasks directly from your email.
AI-Powered Assistance with Copilot
Most exciting? Copilot is here. You can draft emails, summarize threads, and even get tone suggestions—all with Copilot built into Outlook. It’s like having a personal assistant for your inbox.
Enhanced Security
Advanced phishing and malware protection keep your data safe, while cloud-based encryption ensures compliance for business users. We need this now more than ever.

Classic Outlook will be supported for a few more years, but Microsoft’s roadmap is clear: the future is cloud-first, AI-powered, and integrated. Starting in 2025, many business users will be automatically transitioned to New Outlook. Switching now means you can take advantage of the latest features and avoid the scramble later.
